A very interesting district in San Diego, California, is Barrio Logan (officially Logan Heights). There it's Chicano Park. Chicano is a political-cultural term used by or for people of Mexican descent in the USA. Beneath the viaduct to access the San Diego - Coronado Bay Bridge, there are dozens of murals, made by Chicano artists. It is said to be the biggest outdoor art gallery in the world. The murals depict scenes of Mexican / Chicano history, culture and folklore.
