Fantasma da Era Soviética

Há 14 anos (1995) na estação ferroviária de Vilnius, na Lituânia reparei neste comboio, circulando entre o enclave russo de Kaliningrado (Калининград, Karaliaučius, Königsberg, Królewiec) e São Petersburgo (Санкт-Петербург, Sankt-Peterburg, antiga Leningrado).
Isto foi fotografado quatro anos após a dissolução da União Soviética e do retorno do nome de Leningrado para São Petersburgo. No entanto, entre as janelas, o antigo brasão da União Soviética foi apenas pintado de verde. E a placa com o nome do comboio (Янтарный берег, "Costa de Âmbar") continua a exibir o nome antigo de Leningrado (Ленинград) em vez de São Petersburgo.

14 years ago (1995) in Vilnius Train Station, Lithuania I spotted this train, on its way between the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad (Калининград, Karaliaučius, Königsberg, Królewiec) and Saint Petersburg (Санкт-Петербург​, Sankt-Peterburg, former Leningrad).
This was shot four years after the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the renaming back of Leningrad to Saint Petersburg. However, between the windows, the former Coat of arms of the Soviet Union was just painted green. And the plaque with the name of the train (Янтарный берег, "Amber Coast") still displays the old name of Leningrad (Ленинград) instead of Saint Petersburg.
